Price is modified by the choice of wood and finishing. This option is for a set of doors covering the entire opening.
Click to see door style examples. A lumber-banded door is a solid flat door with a plywood core and solid wood edges.
Door Tops (2) on Full or Upper Bookcase Doors
Arch or Cathedral tops are not available on mitered doors.
Wall-Hanging Options
The hanging strip is a 3/4" thick piece of wood mounted inside that provides a more secure way to attach the bookcase to the wall. The wall-hanging option adds a hanging strip and makes the bottom rail the same width as the top rail. The finished bottom puts a flat bottom underneath, which looks better when it is mounted high on the wall.
Bookcase Drawer Options (2-3)
Add two or three drawers to a bookcase that has a minimum depth of 9 inches.
Squared-Off Edges
Contemporary bookcases come standard with rounded inside and outside edges. When a door kit is added, the inside edge is squared off. If you plan to place several bookcases together and add your own moulding, it is better to use squared-off outside edges.
